Linux Hosting

Ok im looking to build a server computer im stuck on the motherboard – hosting websites, game servers at LAN parties, running windows server or linux, mainy a file server so it must have lots of sata ports.. im not going uber mad on buying top of the range componets like the motheboard doesnt need a pci graphics card onboard is fine.. i want to go with AMD cause they have cheap CPU’s and i wouldn’t mind a motherboard with 2 socket support makes it look more like a server… Oh ya and it doesnt have to support lots of ram like 8 gig support is fine… So tell me what would be the ideal server motherboard for me?

Oh ya and im based in australia.. so arround 0-400+- for teh motherboard in Aus dollors plz
