What’s the difference between Linux web hosting and Windows web hosting.?

I just want to know what it means so I don’t waste my money on the wrong thing. Chosen Answer: Nothing really, except you can’t host IIS (ASP, ASP.net) on Non-Windows computers (apache discontinued support).
